Southern Foodservice Management Inc., a national contract food service company, is now hiring for a Front of House Manger & Catering Coordinator at University of Central Florida, Garvy Nutrition Center 4465 Knights Victory Way, Orlando, FL 32816 (potential applicants are highly encouraged to research our location before applying to ensure it is an acceptable commute). We support UCF Athletics by providing healthy meals to student athletes. We also cater for Suites, clubs, and Stadium events.

You will participate in service operations, team management, administrative tasks and have direct interaction with guests/clients. You should understand and support the location’s expectation of excellence in all operations and provide tools, training and support for the team to deliver. The overall objective is to deliver exceptional food, service and hospitality in an environment pleasing to our guests.

You will be under the direction of the chef/manager, you will be responsible for collecting and washing all used wares from the kitchen and dining areas. Correctly place and store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils. Stock serving stations, cupboards, and other areas. Taking out all trash, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning of kitchen and dining area. And all other duties directed by chef/manager.

Schedule is weekdays and occasional Saturdays 6:30am-4:30pm and 10:00am-8:00pm.

The salary is $65,000.00.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass background and drug tests.
• Dish/utility and restaurant experience a plus.
• Must maintain a clean, safe work environment and food safety at all times.
• Must be organized, clean, fast, and able to multi-task.
• Be able to lift 25 lbs. or more.
• Must enjoy people and be able to provide “Something Extra” to the guest.
