Position:

FT Housekeeper $12-$13/hr

About Us:

The River’s Edge Campground in Dewy Rose, GA is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Housekeeper for immediate placement on a GREAT TEAM in an Enjoyable Work Environment! Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

The River’s Edge is a membership only, gay, clothing optional campground community that is open year-round. Prospective employees must be open-minded, professional and must deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

Job Description:

- Clean, change linens and reset all cabins.

- Clean restock bathrooms daily.

- Report any and all maintenance issues found.

- Clean common areas such as the game room, clubhouse, and pavilion.

- Assist with inventory for housekeeping supplies.

- Maintain cabin porches and surrounding areas by blowing leaves when necessary.

- Assist with laundry during off-season.

- Assist with events and other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

- 40 hrs./week: Friday – Fri/Sat/Sun 8:30 - 4:30 Mon/Tues 9:00 – 5:00, Wednesdays and Thursdays off. Overtime pay may be earned for holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day).

- Thanksgiving & Christmas Day off

Requirements:

- 40 hrs./week

- Able to work weekends including 3-day holidays. OFF for Thanksgiving & Christmas Day.

- Able to work outdoors in all types of climate for 8 hours per day

- High School Diploma or GED preferred

- Must have reliable transportation

- Able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

- Full use of legs, arms and hands & full range of motion required: bending, twisting, lifting, squatting.

Pay:

- Starting pay is $12 + tip pool shared with the other housekeeper. After 3 months of successful employment, your will be eligible for a $1 raise (pending performance).
