Hybrid 3 days in office/2 days remote


Role Value Proposition:

Perform detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. Convert specifications about business problems into programming instructions, design and code programs, create test transactions and run tests. Analyze organizational needs and goals to develop and implement application systems. Monitor operating efficiency of existing application systems. Review, analyze and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large scale system. Maintain records to document program development and revisions. Provide support to technical vendor resources. Design business process models, business rules and algorithms.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software/Electrical Engineering or Information Technology (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience programming in Java, OpenText Content Server, J2EE, JSP, SOAP/REST Web Services, JavaScript, HTML/5 and XML. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section unless otherwise stated) - must possess the following: Developing, implementing and maintaining application systems using Java, Cornerstone, Urban Code, Bitbucket, Maven, Bamboo and JIRA (2 years); encoding, testing, debugging and installing for systems applying Enterprise Content Management principles and OpenText Content Server product; leading development projects and setting technical guidance/direction for solutions; and performing OpenText Enterprise Content Management platform migration and upgrade.
