ProLogistix is seeking General Labors for our distribution postal service center in Kent, WA.
Monday -Friday| 8:00am-5:00pm | $19/hr
Mail Sorter Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, identify and queue Parcel for processing
- Interacting with software, scales, and dimensional equipment
- Process Parcels accurately and efficiently
- Sort, Load, Containerize Parcels with emphasis on safe practices
- Interface with Compliance Team to source needed information and resolve outstanding issues.
What to Expect:
- Most packages weigh less than 50lbs and automation technology is used to reduce physical labor
- Retrieve and sort incoming packages.
- Prepare deliveries by either gaylord, sack setup or pallet stacking.
- Load packages into the system and identify special handling needs.
- Use technology like scanners, computers and automation for improved accuracy and speed.
- Perform all additional duties as required.
