GSOC Intelligence Analyst

SUMMARY: Must have 3+ years of GSOC experience and/or a Bachelors degree in related field! GSOC Analysts are responsible for the monitoring of open-source intelligence, researching and preparing risk assessments, compiling region and global reports, replying to email and phone inquiries and general workplace duties as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Reports directly to SOC Lead and acts as the SOC Lead in their absence.

2. Conducts regular monitoring of open-source intelligence, social media platforms, and other informational gathering tools for known and potential threats to employees, Company assets, and reputation.

3. Collects, analyzes, and communicates matters related to employee welfare, global incidents, operational issues, and critical situations.

4. Collects and validates open-source and proprietary intelligence, and assesses their credibility and reliability.

5. Researches and prepares risk assessment reports for Company sites, special events, and/or employee travel.

6. Utilizes internal and external systems and information to monitor regional risks, such as natural or manmade disasters, security incidents, and geopolitical events, which could adversely impact the client's personnel, travels, assets, facilities, and/or reputation.

7. Interacts directly with employees facing a variety of emergencies and provides them information to assist in their safety and security.

8. Supports Company's other safety and security system program initiatives to include investigations, executive security, technical security, workplace violence and insider threats.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:

  • Must be Covid-19 vacinnated.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication.
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the US.
  • Must be able to pass second interview.
  • Bachelors degree in related field and/or 3-5 years of experience.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in related field and/or 3-5 years of experience.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications.
  • Prior GSOC experience recommended
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to change gears quickly
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively via telephone and email
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees and visitors
  • Highly organized and able to manage time wisely
  • Must have a sense of urgency and follow through
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers and peers
  • Must pass drug and criminal background check provided by supplier

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning and development strategies, and methods of delivery for training programs at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to present training material and facilitate training programs and sessions articulately, confidently, and with ease.

  • Effective time management in order to deliver projects on-time and that meet expectations.
  • Ability to receive direct or indirect instruction in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form; act upon such instruction and partner with stakeholders for clarification when needed.
  • Competent writer; exhibits knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented workplace where judgment and professionalism were necessities.
  • Capably work under pressure while maintaining a professional image and approach with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to create and revise documentation with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new technologies as required and demonstrated ability to quickly learn unfamiliar areas of business.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and suitable training techniques.
  • Ability to manage the work of others and lead a team using project management skills and strategies.

  • Basic understanding of security services and operations.
