This position is based at the Floyd County Health Department in Rome, Georgia and will service Bartow, Floyd, Haralson, Paulding and Polk Counties.

This position is full time, working 40 hours per week, is unclassified and exempt.

Job Responsibilities

Under supervision, promotes, maintains, and improves individual and community health by assisting individuals and communities to adopt healthy behaviors. Collect and analyze data to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies and environments.

This position will primarily be assigned to Family Planning and Women's Health Programs, but may assist with other programs/services as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Public Health Education from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor's degree in Education, Social, Behavioral or Biological Sciences, Communications, Marketing, or a directly related field from an accredited college or university.

Current CBH employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.

CBH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. CBH may contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.

The District Human Resource Department must receive an official transcript and/or proof of licenses, certifications prior to employment.
