Job description
Amcare Pro Home Health is interviewing for a Full Time Licensed Physical Therapist to add to our growing DFW team. The right candidate would need to be a self-starter, who needs very little supervision and can exemplify the ability to supervise PTAs The territory would be Fort Worth, Arlington, Southlake, North Richland Hills, Saginaw, and the surrounding areas.
Previous HOME HEALTH experience is REQUIRED. Knowledge of the OASIS assessment tool would be necessary.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in developing the plan of care.
- Direct physical therapy treatment/supervise PTAs
- Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances.
- Prepare and submit clinical notes in a timely manner.
Requirements of Qualified Candidates:
- Must be currently licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the STATE OF TEXAS and compliant with accepted professional standards and practices
- Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
