Maintenance Technician

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician and are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer.

The Maintenance Technician will be reporting to the Chief Engineer. This will require weekday and weekend availability and may include afterhours calls. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded maintenance person with a background general maintenance and upkeep. This candidate must be sharp, energetic and detailed oriented with a distinctly hands-on management style. Prior experience in a hotel/resort environment is preferred.

Principle duties are as follows:

• Prior maintenance experience is preferred
• Produce accurate logs, charts and preventative maintenance forms for all HVAC related equipment/tasks
• General repairs experience with drywall, carpet and tile.
• Ability to perform implement Preventive Maintenance Programs
• Analytical approach to problem solving
• Ability to work, communicate and maintain positive guest and colleague relations
• Strong attention to detail
• Clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure public areas meet hotel standards
• Strip guest rooms, deliver supplies to housekeepers, and take linens to laundry
• Restock public area supplies and take out trash.
• Multi-tasking
• Effective written and verbal communication skills exercising patience, tact, and diplomacy
