Job Title: Housekeeper

Job Overview: Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is in Lampe, MO. We are currently looking for a PART TIME HOUSEKEEPER to join our team! This individual will perform a variety of housekeeping duties. The right candidate needs to be dependable, detail oriented, and guest focused. Able to work Sunday and Monday 9:00AM - 5:00PM and as scheduled.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining common areas, building interiors and offsite housing.
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, urinals, portable toilets, countertops, and sinks.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
• Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors.
• Washing windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Vacuuming and cleaning rugs.
• Laundry duties as necessary.
• Using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
• Keeping utility closets and storage stocked, clean and organized.
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste from indoor and outdoor containers.
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and reporting needs.
• Knowing the cleaning products, their proper uses and the necessary personal protective equipment needed.
• Reporting repairs or replacements of equipment or product.
• Other duties as assigned.

Necessary qualifications needed:

• Ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate changing needs in the park.
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
• Physically fit with the ability to bend, squat, reach overhead, stoop, lift 50 lbs.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and managers.
• Excellent customer service.
• Reliable yet flexible with scheduling needs.
• Must adhere to all company/department safety standards and policies.
