Arconic is currently in search of a HR Manager to join our Kawneer business in Visalia, CA. This position reports directly into the Regional HRM with dotted line reporting into the Location Plant Manager.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
The HR Manager responsibilities will require application of broad HR and California employment law knowledge as well as hands-on expertise with demonstrated results in several of the following functions/HR processes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of tactics to execute HR strategies that achieve the overall business strategy
- Provide direction and leadership to engage employees
- Drive engagement actions and monitor results.
- Lead Performance management processes
- Maintain and provide positive employee relations.
- Lead investigations onsite and follow up as needed.
- Provide and be part of strategic staffing recruitment, and talent management including internal and external recruiting.
- Coordinate training and development opportunities including any compliance requirements.
- Manage daily generalist tasks
- Maintain and grow knowledge of California employment law & compliance issues such as EEO/AAP, ADA, FLSA and FMLA
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively increased responsibility within Human Resources
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment
- Fluent in Spanish both speaking and written
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and adapt as unexpected projects arise and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Demonstrated effective communications with all levels of personnel from shop floor, staff peers to business unit leadership levels
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
