Talent Acquisition Specialist – Programs & Systems
Location: Wittenberg WI
Status: Regular Full-Time
FLSA: Exempt
JOB SUMMARY:
The TA Specialist – Programs & Systems will drive business outcomes by providing expertise to enable and support programmatic solutions for attracting and retaining talent for the organization. This individual will ensure that the people systems and reporting are in place to support talent acquisition/recruitment/retention for Nueske’s. This individual will be a role model for the Nueske’s Core Values (Integrity, Respect, Trust) and Culture Elements, embracing the need to care for our team members, customers, and communities. The TA Specialist will be key contributor in executing to the strategy to ensure Nueske’s has the right talent in place today as well as programs in place to provide talent for future growth. This is a new role for the Nueske’s organization and will report to either the Chief People Officer or the HR Business Partner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Acts as a collaborative member of the HR team to develop and deliver actions needed to support team members and business needs, especially working hand-in-hand with the other talent acquisition team members to align and coordinate efforts
- Shares knowledge and ideas across the team and organization
- Partners with other HR team members, Operations, and other functions to ensure an understanding of the people needs of the business for today and plan for future people needs
- Partners with internal customers to develop special programmatic solutions “feeder pools” for talent acquisition (i.e. interns, co-ops, school to work, military, tech schools, local school systems and other groups)
- Understands HR systems capabilities for supporting TA and ensures Nueske’s is effectively using the systems
- Supports the technical aspects of attracting, hiring and retaining talent
- Develops processes and procedures to ensure a great candidate experience as well as government compliance
- Represents Nueske’s as an active and positive member of the communities where we live and work and develops external partners for programmatic talent solutions
- Approaches the role with a continuous improvement mindset and provide ideas and solutions for improving HR operations and service
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to contribute in an environment with a strong culture of caring for people and producing top quality products
- Ability to establish strong partnerships, relationships, and influence across the organization and with community and educational partners.
- Experience working in talent acquisition
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR systems, programs and processes, ADP experience preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Work experience in a privately owned organization
