This company is the world's largest building materials company, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator, in South Seattle, WA

Location: On-Site (MUST BE LOCAL)
Contract: 4 Months
Payrate: $35.00/hr.

OBJECTIVE:
In accordance with the objectives and policies defined for the Company, the holder of the position will work closely with the Director of Finance, the administrative team, and the other department managers (e.g., sales & production) in the arena of accounts receivable to enhance performance of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Organizes and archives records and documents
  • Makes copies of paperwork and distributes as needed
  • Retrieves data and files for other departments and for employee requests
  • Creates new files and provides needed information on forms and reports
  • Secures and protects the privacy of documents
  • Assists with Employee Leaves of Absence including but not limited to WC, FMLA, and STD absences, generates employee approval letter for FMLA and STD
  • Maintain employee and medical files with a high level of confidence
  • Ensures compliance at the plant in accordance with the ICRF and conducts plant audits for adherence
  • Effective time management and maintaining integrity and confidentiality in all matters
  • Assist with recruiting, new hire onboarding, offboarding, and tracking activity
  • Assists in the preparation of reports and audits as requested
  • Assists with team events and helps organize employee appreciation events
  • Organizes office supply rooms and maintains a clean environment
  • Maintains the Uniform Program, handling and distributing uniforms
  • Assists with the Janitorial process with ordering supplies and managing the janitorial staff
