A leading innovator in the manufacturing space is looking for a Human Resource Generalist. They HR Generalist will provide human resources expertise and support to our employees and leadership group. You will support the management and delivery of essential HR services including but not limited to; employee relations, training and development, performance management, talent acquisition and policy/procedure administration.

Accountabilities
  • Function as a business partner, supporting and providing guidance to leaders as it relates to talent acquisition, employee relations, policy & procedure interpretation, coaching, performance management and workforce planning.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process and provide leadership with insights into the sourcing of suitable candidates. Develop strategic partnerships with local organizations and post-secondary institutions to support recruitment initiatives and develop a talent pipeline.
  • Participate in the development, implementation and ongoing support of HR strategies, projects, policies and workplace programs/initiatives.
  • Support training & development initiatives for various departments or the broader employee group.
  • Support onboarding process for new hires
  • Manage leave of absence programs including FMLA, STD, LTD
  • Administrative duties pertaining to employee changes, offboarding, compliance, and training.

About You
  • Post-Secondary Education with a focus in HR or Business
  • 3+ years related HR experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge and application of HR best practices
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, in addition to exposure using various ATS or HRIS systems.
