HVAC Installation Apprentice position!
You don’t even need HVAC experience. This is a position for people who wanna learn on the job!
Your Role:
As an HVAC Installation Apprentice:
- You’ll remove and install new HVAC systems, including ductwork.
- You’ll work closely with the installation department to provide timely and accurate installation of HVAC equipment.
- You’ll observe, ask questions, and actively seek feedback to learn HVAC installation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for HVAC Installation Apprentices:
- Prior hands-on mechanical experience and knowledge
- Valid local driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Acceptable criminal background record
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work synergistically with crew partner(s), also independently and accurately
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
- Commitment to company values
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable attendance
- Fluent ability to speak, read, and write in the English language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS for HVAC Installation Apprentices:
- Prior Residential HVAC installation experience and knowledge

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the person is frequently required to move about at customers’ homes inside tight crawlspaces and ascend/descend ladders lifting one’s own bodyweight through narrow entrances into attics. Must be able to identify and inspect equipment, parts, and colored wiring to safely install and test electrical connections with precise hand-eye motor skills. Must occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds or more averaging 4 times a day.
Mental Demands:
Must be able to perceive and distinguish emotions, as well as deal with adversarial confrontations. Requires an ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks at once. Conscious attention to detail is required to safely perform tasks.
Work environment:
Frequently requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and other hazards such as electrical shock, toxic fumes, caustic chemicals, UV light, sharp objects, poisonous animals, etc., which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness. This job requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by company policy.
- Ability to work some weekends and holidays on a rotation
