Group Home Assistant Manager - $1500 Sign on Bonus
We are looking for an energetic, organized leader to help manage the group home. This position will assist with managing the day to day living of the group home clients in order to improve their quality of life and maximize their independence. The assistant manager also assists with supervision of staff working in the group home. The position is a direct training position for promotional opportunity to step into a group home manager position.
Basic Responsibilities:
Work approximately 20 hours completing hands-on care with the clients who reside in the group homes, assisting them with personal care, medical care, and daily living skills. The Group Home Assistant Manager will work closely with the Group Home Management team to meet their other 20 hours each week. The position will assist with medical duties including administering medications, training new staff on medications and client care, organizing and maintaining medical equipment, assisting with doctor's appointments, completing group home disbursement, etc. Additionally, the Group Home Assistant Manager will assist with the group home emergency on-call rotation and other group home management duties in order to develop core staff and build retention in the group home setting.
$1000 Sign on Bonus
This position is full-time, non-exempt, working approximately 40 hours per week. Weekday split shifts hours, weekend hours, along with rotating on-call schedule is required.

Job Qualifications Required:
- Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED
- Prefer experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Good leadership and communication skills required
- Must be able to work as a positive asset in a team environment
- Must pass MANDT behavior training and recertification annually
- Must hold current CPR card or pass CPR training and recertify as required
- Must pass any necessary medical competency training to provide proper client care
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and valid car insurance with the ability to transport clients in your own vehicle and/or Easterseals transportation van as necessary. Must provide a copy of current insurance as requested.
