Required Skills: To qualify for consideration, an applicant must possess the following skills or be willing to learn.

• Clean equipment as needed before being painted or sealed using abrasives, solvents, and brushes to remove rust or imperfections on metal
• This is not production line work; this trade requires painting knowledge with a will to complete task in a timely manner
• Use assignments and production sequences to meet production goals.
• Prepare and apply paint or other coatings using pressure pot systems, brush, roller to coat areas to specifications
• Work with plans, work schedules and production sequences to meet goals
• Inspect materials, products and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
• Ability to learn/use pressure pot paint systems
• Job knowledge to inspect his or her own work and be willing to learn what is acceptable before 90-day review
• Must have physical stamina to perform tasks, including the ability to consistently lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb and bend.
• Flexible, with ability handle changing priorities
• Keep work area clean and organized consistently and safely
• Drill press operations or willing to learn
• Requires standing for long periods, stooping, bending, stretching, twisting and no fear of heights
• Will be required to become Forklift and Overhead Crane Certified
• Responsible for his or her area of the shop for housekeeping and organization and will utilize clean up time assigned at the end of each day to do so
• Any other duties assigned by management.

Personal protective equipment (gloves, earplugs, face shield, paint mask) supplied by company.

Reliable transportation.

Required to have your own pair of steel toe shoes.

Safety glasses and gloves will be provided.

Must be physically capable to perform general fabrication work requirements.

Must be able to comply with all conditions and physical requirements with little or no restrictions.
