The Industry Support - Graduate will be responsible for providing manufacturing readiness level support to various operational areas that deliver products to customers. These to include, Manufacturing & Product Engineering, Calibration, Warehouse & Logistics, and assisting the procurement team.

This person will be asked to float between areas as the business needs arise.

Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Operations Support:
  • Write ERP working area instructions, based upon directions from management or industry leadership
  • Maintain a lists of all ISO or Chorus procedures under supervision.
  • Re-write procedures upon receiving redlines from management or other leadership.
  • Provide additional support to warehouse and logistics when work in those areas is delayed or becomes resource constrained.
  • Assist with obtaining industry data and assisting with maintaining Operations KPI’s
  • Product/Manufacturing Engineering Support:
  • Assist with maintaining obsolescence spreadsheets.
  • Assist with updating digital/pictorial Work Instructions
  • Industry Supply Chain Support:
  • Be a resource that can call suppliers to check on deliveries or obtain status updates.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A recent graduate or someone who is preparing to graduate during the current year with a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Business, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology. Interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels within the business.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
