Requirements

An associate degree or higher in Education, with a specialization in Early Childhood Education, is strongly preferred
Experience with curriculum development and implementation
Early childhood education classroom experience
Strong communication skills and a friendly, nurturing attitude
Comfortable using computers for a variety of purposes
Familiarity with Reggio Emilia is a plus
Positive Team player

- Have the skill to observe the children, be able to inform their curriculum planning, and be able to implement it

- Be able to work under the leadership of the Director and/or Class Teacher exploring ways of expanding on the children’s spontaneous activities

Abilities:

  • Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher or taking care of children in a school environment.
  • Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills
  • Ability to act as a mediator between children
  • Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable
  • A balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
  • Certification in child CPR
