Job description
- Support the library media specialist in order to provide additional support for learners to find books and engage in activities.
- Reinforcement of lessons presented by the library media specialist by reviewing material with learners one-on-one or in small group.
- Enforce library rules to help teach learners appropriate behaviors (CHAMPS).
- Supervise learners in class, between classes, during lunch and recess on occasion.
- Work with library media specialist to organize books, digital databases, and other resources.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- General computer skills
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with students and staff
- Prior experience working with middle school-age students preferred
