Noble Academy Cleveland, a K-8 community school located in Euclid-OH, is looking for an Intervention Specialist at for the 2023-2024 school year.

Salary Range: From/To: 40k to 50k based on demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience.

Provide special education students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth; Develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons and other instructional materials to match student ability levels; Work in self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant capacity as assigned.

Skills:

Complete knowledge of special needs of students in assigned area.
Complete knowledge of Intervention Assistance Team process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation.
Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
Demonstrate evidence of organization.
Demonstrate skill in using a variety of methods and techniques to meet the needs of students.
Excellent attention to detail
Thorough understanding of special education laws and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, students, and parents.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Experience:

Working with students with learning challenges such as cognitive disabilities, attentional issues, processing disorders, mild to moderate behavioral challenges.
Strong work ethic and dedication to students.
Demonstrate evidence of effective planning.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Determining educational needs of students identified with IEPs.
Assisting in the development and implementation of the IEP for each student served.
Developing instructional and behavioral strategies for students with disabilities.
Providing small group instruction according to the IEP
Completing IEP's and ETR's in a timely manner to stay in compliance
Maintaining confidentiality concerning all student information and in any professional matters.
Identifying, procuring, and coordinating the appropriate supplemental services to maintain the student with disabilities in the regular education classroom.
Handling all relevant special education issues, including issues relating to student IEP/MFE/ETR updates/changes, due process cases, and parent issues/involvement.
Scheduling meetings between teachers, administrators, parents, and students if necessary.
Maintaining the teaching environment in an orderly fashion conducive to good learning.
Maintaining compliance with all Department of Education requirements in regards to the administration of student IEPs.
Proctoring district and state testing as directed
Serving as a resource to teachers with special education students in their classrooms
Other job duties are required as the profession demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
