Job description
INVENTORY CONTROL, SHIPPING & RECEIVING
OPERATION OF PARTS ROOM, INVENTORY, SHIPPING & RECEIVING.
- Must be organized.
- Computer skills are required.
- EMAIL, WORD, EXCEL, Inventory Database Software.
- Must be able to lift heavy items.
- Must be able to drive a fork truck and use a pallet jack.
- Good communication skills are needed.
- Experience with inventory systems is a plus.
- Familiar with proper packing of items for shipment.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Daily receiving of shipments via UPS, FEDEX, FREIGHT.
- Loading/unloading of pallets/crates Freight Trucks.
- Receiving of incoming shipments in the company database software. Matching Packing Slips with PO’s.
- Marking/locating items as need for production.
- Picking of parts for outgoing Parts Orders and in-house Production Orders.
