Avo Photonics (www.avophotonics.com) is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base.

We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous person who will support our growth in the photonics industry.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain appropriate stock levels on the Production Floor
• Issue materials according to travelers as needed
• Conduct cycle counts; identify, report and investigate discrepancies between physical and system count
• Strict adherence to established policies and procedures

Requirements:

• 2+ years of inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication skills including ability to discuss issues in a clear, professional manner
• Very strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP a plus.
