We invite you to apply for an Inventory Delivery Driver position with our company!

Responsibilities:

• Pull, pack, and load inventory (food, paper products, etc., according to stores' purchase orders) for delivery from our Central Kitchen to our stores around NYC (not to individual customers)
• Safely and expeditiously deliver inventory to our stores using a company vehicle, and properly stow away along with store staff
• Retrieve used/soiled containers from the stores into the vehicle, and then unload such containers off the vehicle at Central Kitchen for cleaning/disposal
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the vehicle at all times
• Assist with tasks around the Central Kitchen as necessary and as directed when not on delivery runs, such as moving received inventory into appropriate storage areas, helping with packaging food, etc.

Requirements:

• Able to provide proof of full COVID vaccination
• Authorized to work in the U.S
• Possess a clean driving record & valid driver's license
• Must be familiar with NYC traffic laws and patterns
• Able to drive cargo vans. Forklift and Isuzu NRR (14') Box Truck is a plus.
• Able to speak basic English
• Able to understand and follow work rules and procedures
• Able to follow directions from supervisors and perform work tasks assigned
• Able to receive constructive criticism in a professional manner
• Able to interact productively and professionally with co-workers
• Able to report to work at scheduled times and to fulfill job requirements for the duration of shift or until relieved of duties
• Able to maintain punctual attendance per company policy consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Able to lift and move at least 50 pounds

• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Able to work well under pressure and multitask
• Able to work fast/expeditiously

Operations and requirements during the pandemic:

• Clear panels are installed at the cashier counter in stores
• Face coverings are provided to staff and are required for work
• Guests are required to have face coverings on in order to be served in our stores (except when actively eating or drinking)
• Social distancing will be enforced on the premises whenever possible
• All the above are subject to reasonable change at any time depending on conditions at the time
