Overview:
Responsibilities:
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).
To receive, record, package, store, issue, and inventory a wide variety of stock, including raw materials, work in process materials, and other supplies in an MRP (material requirements planning) closed stockroom.
Responsibilities:
- Insure that all requests for parts are authorized and proper procedures followed.
- Receive or issue and physically count or weigh count as required, parts, materials, or supplies.
- Sort and package parts or materials in predetermined quantities in accordance with prescribed procedures.
- Store parts and materials in accordance with sound material handling procedures and AS9100 requirements.
- Perform recurring or periodic physical inventory of all stock on hand.
- Responsible for upholding 98% inventory accuracy on cycle counts.
- Update inventory file in order to correct stock balance as needed. Determine the cause of errors and report reason to supervisor.
- Enter all receipts, issues, and adjustments into ERP
- Use computerized inventory file for information inquiry, how many parts are on hand, and where they are located.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner.
- Follow all security and safety instructions
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year working experience in MRP (material requirements planning), stock or inventory control operations.
- Ability to operate a computer.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Clerical and mathematical courses helpful.
