- Manages inventory movement from time of purchase to delivery at the store
- Coordinates transfers from our off-site warehouse based on business trends
- Oversees the daily cycle count process including researching variances
- Oversees inventory adjustment and damage process in partnership with the management team
- Partners with merchandising team to ensure timely delivery of new and top selling items
- Partners with management team to lead the execution of inventory related initiatives
- Provides direction and support to the Receiving Agents for back-of-house organization ensuring optimal inventory placement
- Works with Receiving team, Buyer, and external vendors to resolve any shipping issues
- Partners with Buyer to manage end of month inventory reconciliations and research invoice variances
- Engages in consistent communication with others to strengthen teamwork, in addition to providing suggestions and feedback for continuous improvement while maintaining a positive attitude
- As needed, preforms the job duties of a Receiving Agent during peak periods
- In partnership with the Receiving Agents, leads the annual physical inventory process
- Three or more years related inventory and/or operations experience
- Previous receiving, stockroom, warehouse, and/or retail experience, preferably at a high volume or flagship location
- Outstanding knowledge of inventory management practices and concepts
- MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, & Outlook required). Experience with Point of Sale and Oracle software systems preferred
- Strong math skills including strong background in analytical spreadsheet applications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interact with others
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate levels of stress
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime for special events
- Ability to perform consistent work with a POS system and PC
- Occasional lifting of up to thirty-five pounds with occasional lifting up to fifty pounds
- Adhering to proper lifting techniques, conforming to ergonomic guidelines
- Regular walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and reaching
- Good manual dexterity
- Often necessary to change duties, projects, or direction on short notice
- May carry two-way radio
This position includes a base pay range of $24.69 - $37.03 per hour, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
