Senior IT Auditor

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Conduct an annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance audit.
  • Document and review IT General Controls (ITGC) and business process walkthroughs.
  • Detailed testing procedures are performed for complex ITGC and business processes.
  • Analyze the findings and document them.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
  • Conduct internal audits of crucial IT applications, ERP systems, and other IT-related systems.
  • Performing accurate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) assessments and documenting system conversions.
  • Provide feedback on the work performed by IT auditors.
  • Draft final reports for management.
  • Assessments and audits of IT risks should be completed.
  • Ensure ITGCs, application controls, and IT-related considerations are discussed with key process and control owners.
  • Collaborate with external auditors on the annual financial statement audit.
  • Provide training and development for IT auditors.
  • Maintain productive relationships with company personnel and audit clients.
  • Utilize technology and resources to learn and share knowledge continually.
  • Training and professional development sessions should be attended regularly.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree and legal authorization to work in the United States. The preferred qualifications include a degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Accounting, or Finance, as well as relevant certifications and previous IT and/or audit experience.

Approximately 10% of the time will be spent travelling.

The candidate will need to be proficient in IT audit control testing procedures, basic accounting principles, and Microsoft Office tools.

Strong communication skills are also essential for this position, both verbally and in writing.
