Summary:
The IT Network / Security Analyst is responsible for managing, maintaining and securing a multi-office network infrastructure environment, client endpoints, services and data. The network environment is composed of Fortigate Firewalls, Cisco and Arista Switches, Cisco and Arista wireless, Citrix NetScalers, in an MPLS/DIA/SDWAN infrastructure. The security environment consists of Mimecast, Tenable, Crowdstrike, MSP, Log Rhythm, OKTA and Azure P1.

Job Classification:
Reports and is responsible to the Network and Security Manager.
Network Duties:
- Designing, configuring, and maintaining network environments.
- Designing, configuring, and maintaining firewall, switch, WIFI and router hardware.
- Must have strong network protocols including TCP/IP and have a strong understanding of subnetting and VLANS.
- Coordinate with telco and phone system vendors for management, maintenance and installation of WAN MPLS and failover infrastructure for interoffice voice and data connectivity.
- Coordinate with vendors and outside consultants when equipment requires servicing. Place service calls, maintain service history logs, ensure that parts were ordered, installed, and follow-up with appropriate staff to ensure the problem was solved.
- Coordinate with IT Leadership on disaster recovery and business continuity design and planning as well as review impact of network changes and additions to disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Analyzing and troubleshooting traffic flow using advanced analysis tools.
- Documenting and explaining network topologies.
Security Duties:
- Participate in the planning and design of enterprise security architecture.
- Work with the firms Manage Security Provider to respond to and resolve security incidents as required.
- Manage the firms IAM solution.
- Participate in Risk assessments.
- Monitor all security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations.
- Review audit logs for security incidents.
- Staying up to date with current vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Security monitoring practices.
- Security monitoring and incident response integrated workflows.
- Vulnerability patch management.
- Conduct digital forensics.
- Automate whenever possible.
- Other duties as assigned.
Other Responsibilities:
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when needed.
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule
- Travel to other offices when needed.
- Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- 2 or 4-year degree in Information Technology, Network/Systems/Security Administration, Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent combination of education and related experience/training.
- 3+ years of experience in network and/or security administration.
- Experience with Cisco device configuration and management interfaces.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and routing, firewall technologies, information security principles and practices.
- In-depth knowledge with advanced networking troubleshooting, analysis, and performance tuning.
- Possess utmost troubleshooting skills in the areas of security and networking
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, and client server management.
- Experience with Mobile device Management.
- Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 50 lbs.).
- Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
