Position Summary

The IT Support Specialist position provides advanced technical expertise in the deployment and upkeep of company workstations, iPhones/iPads, Shop floor CNC equipment, In-house and Cloud Software solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and support of workstations, their associated peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
• Troubleshoot problems to isolate cause and determine resolution.
• Monitor and maintain systems for necessary security endpoint compliance.
• Coordinate implementation of software and hardware changes.
• Work with third party vendors for installation/support of software applications and hardware solutions.
• Test onsite updates and application upgrades prior to deployment in production environment.
• Record information into Service Desk ticket system to ensure resolution compliance with company policies.
• Manage IT assets, keep asset management systems up to date and manage asset e-recycle program.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Management Information Systems Computer Science or related field preferred and can be substituted based on work experience or certifications. Minimum of 5 years of network support experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have experience installing and supporting hardware, operating systems, applications, and peripherals. Proficient with windows 10 and Apple iOS. Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy including Azure/M365 administration. 8x8 VOIP Phone support administration experience is a plus. IOS Support/Management using JMF for all apple devices. Smart-deploy imaging software and milestone video software administration is preferred. Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts. Must be able to troubleshoot hardware and software.

Must be able to sit and work on a computer for long hours. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly. Ability to plan and manage changes in a production environment while minimizing user impact. Ability to maintain poise and efficiency during hectic situations.
