VistAbility is a non-profit organization providing direct services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 13 locations throughout the Contra Costa and Alameda Counties:.

Position: Job Coach for Adults with Disabilities
Location: :West Contra Costa County
Hours: :Variable Schedule (37.5 hours per week!)
Compensation: :$18.50 per hour plus great benefits!

The Job Coach: provides on-the-job coaching and hands-on guidance to adults with disabilities throughout Contra Costa County! We are looking for compassionate individuals who genuinely love to help others.

On a typical day, a Job coach will:

• Encourages participants to participate fully in activities using prompting, cueing, and fading procedures appropriately
• Provide on-the-job training and support participants through coaching, advocacy and mobility training
• Train participants on problem-solving or conflict resolution
• Monitor participant goals and document progress and success
• Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with job site personnel
• Participate in conferences, staff meetings, and other committee meetings as required.
• Follow a flexible work schedule including working nights, weekends and holidays.

• High School diploma or GED, solid verifiable work history
• CA driver's license with good driving record.
• Must have own car. :Mileage reimbursement provided.
