Liberty Bank is looking to hire an in-house Junior Compliance Officer in Salt Lake City, UT. The successful candidate will assist the Chief Compliance Officer in all areas of compliance. This is a full-time long-term position with advancement opportunity.

You will work hand in hand with the Bank’s Compliance Officer. The ideal candidate will have a banking compliance background seeking to grow their role along with the bank’s growth

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

· Excellent written communication skill, organizational skills.

· General knowledge and understanding of bank deposit operations, mortgage and other lending activities, banking terminology, and related banking compliance functions.

· Be a responsive and detailed communicator. (Strong communication skills, oral and writing.)

· Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and external professional auditors, while maintaining strict confidentiality.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Valuable Qualifications:

· Experience with mortgage banking compliance regulations.

· Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering/U.S. Patriot Act, OFAC Regulations.

· Knowledge of regulatory law and/or banking oversight agencies, state and federal.
