OBJECTIVE: The Knoxville Sales Representative is responsible for executing sales, distribution, and achieving and maintaining product integrity standards within the Lipman Brothers’ accounts in East TN. The Sales Representative performance measures include maximizing sales potential of all portfolio brands that Lipman Brothers represents within these locations as well as maintaining and creating authentic relationships with customers. This position will oversee all aspects of customer relationship within an assigned customer account list or area. Any new customer accounts may be added to or removed from the route at the discretion of the manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Master all aspects of Pocket Advantage to ensure proper ordering procedures are followed daily.
  • Knowledge of portfolios for spirits, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, cigars and Riedel crystal.
  • Ability to communicate well with customers, market supervisor, other sales reps, relief sales reps, chain account managers, and operations. Read and comprehend email thoroughly following direction.
  • Ability to handle adverse situations with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to problem solve on their feet and be patient.
  • Ability to execute explicit directions in a timely manner.
  • Must be willing to invest time and effort into developing customer relationships, enhancing product sales.
  • Must attend all sales meetings, new item presentations, or any other required function with educational information about products that the division is responsible for selling.
  • Must be a good listener with ability to execute direction on new items and or processes.
  • Must be sensitive to time windows, submitting accurate orders on time daily.
  • Self-starter that can work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage time wisely and efficiently.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience
  • Must be a self-starter and highly organized.
  • Professional appearance, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
  • Team player with enthusiastic outlook and creativity
  • Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good math skills
  • Able to sit for prolonged periods.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have updated ABC card.
  • Must have good driving record, a dependable vehicle with current proof of insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
