Job description

Summary: Principal responsibilities of the Costing & Systems Analyst relates to gathering financial data (examples include but are not limited to inventory purchases, labor costs, and product costs). The analyst will work within the system to ensure information is accurate and up to date. Specific responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:

· Provide costing for various R&D projects.

· Collaboration with Sales and Marketing in prioritization of projects, especially those related to new product features and key customers.

· Collaborate with Purchasing to forecast demand and place initial orders for new items.

· Work in the system to set up or maintain models/options/features and their pricing.

· Work in the system to complete Bill of Material changes/requests.

· Work in the system to update fabric patterns and requirements.

· Work in the system to maintain Item Master

· Complete necessary inventory tasks

· Other task or activities as may be determined by Senior Management.

Job requirements: 2 + years experience preferred; creative problem solving abilities; able to become product knowledgeable in a timely fashion; effective oral and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and perform job in an organized manner; and proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
