Job Description:
ELLKAY is looking for talented, goal-oriented candidate to join our Lab Account Management Team to help us continue the significant growth and exceptional service we promise our partners. The Lab Account Manager position focuses on the retention, renewal, and growth within an existing book of business. Ideal candidates are experienced in building rapport with executive leaders and identifying opportunities to expand existing services. An important objective of the position is to liaise with cross-functional internal teams to ensure delivery of solutions to client expectations and ensure the highest quality customer experience. The Lab Account Manager is responsible for meeting ambitious individual and team-wide growth targets, by solidifying recurring revenue, meeting and exceeding individual quota. The position will require expert virtual presentation and selling skills and ability for 30% to 50% on-site client travel. Compensation is a combination of salary and commission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts, operating as a main point of contact to ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
- Generate new opportunities among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
- Cultivate relationships with the Sales and Account Management teams across the organization to drive repeat business and an exceptional partner experience by ensuring client engagement is aligned and co-selling opportunities are executed effectively
- Ability to travel 30-50% to properly engage customers and lead on-site meetings and attend industry events
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quota/growth targets
- Maintain required retention rate across accounts
- Deliver influential, consultative sales presentations that address client needs
- Coordinate with operations team to ensure consistent service, as well as assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Become a subject matter expert on ELLKAY solutions and their application to each partner experience
- Candidate must be able to understand and communicate market forces that impact sales effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- Accurately communicate pipeline, forecast, and account metrics within salesforce.com
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of account management experience, managing strategic accounts. Achievement in inside sales or strategic account responsibilities to the medical practice market in a healthcare or technology related field is desirable
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and delivering results.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, include executive and C-level decision makers.
- Documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned growth targets
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills are required
- Ability to understand client needs and communicate complex solutions in a clear and articulate manner
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment where responsibility for individual performance and a team approach are valued
- Experience in team-based selling leveraging technical SME’s to support the technical selling process, understand customer requirements and demonstrations of our technology
