The Lab Associate under moderate supervision, sorts, charts, files patient laboratory test results, performs various functions associated with the hospital/laboratory computer system, prepares and accessions specimens.

What You Need to Be Successful:
- High School Diploma or equivalent or currently enrolled in sophomore year high school required
- Work permit required if applicant is between 16 and 18 years of age
- Hospital Laboratory experience preferred
- Demonstrates ability to use computer based operating systems
- The ability to ensure confidentiality and rights of all patient and departmental documents is required
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
