JOB OVERVIEW

• Prepare large volumes of petroleum-based lubricant blends according to specific instructions

• Perform a variety of lubricant performance tests using both established lubricant industry procedures, mainly according to ASTM standards, and custom procedures

• Ensure proper communication of experimental findings, typically as Excel spreadsheets or written reports; perform a preliminary assessment of the technical information, identifying when results are unusual or suspect; investigate cause of suspect data; define and implement corrective action
• Execute the testing within the Quality initiatives of the laboratory; the lab is ISO 9001 certified
• Comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety regulations

Qualifications: Minimum of a B.S. in Chemistry or related scientific discipline with at

least 2 years of experience in laboratory testing, preferably in the lubricant testing area

This position is based in Tarrytown, NY; It is for 40 hours per week and fully in-

person, day shift

Salary: $31.00 per hour
