Job description
Capital Materials is looking to fill several Batch Plant Laborer positions for the 2023 season. These positions will travel throughout Central Missouri with a portable batch plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Operate skid-steer, jack hammers, air compressors, skid plate tampers, shovels, rakes, broom, and/or other hand tools
- Clear working area
- Work closely with the skilled operators
- Engage in all forms of hard labor that is necessary for the completion of a construction project
REQUIREMENTS
- General knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.
- Must be able to work as a team on all projects
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to travel/work out of town
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
