Blue Wave Kauai Laundry Services, a dynamic and growing company in Lihue has part and full-time positions open. We are looking for a Laundry Specialist who is hardworking, reliable and able to function in a fast-paced working environment with the ability to work well with other team members.Laundry Specialist duties include sorting, stain removal, washing and drying, folding towels, sheets, etc. Maintenance and the cleanliness of the machinery and the facility is expected. Knowledge with basic math and counting is necessary.
Candidates must understand, follow and maintain the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Physical strength and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as stand and move around for the majority of the day is required.
A Level 4 driver’s license is preferred but will train. Compensation based on experience and includes mileage and cell phone reimbursement.
Work schedule may include weekends and some holidays.
