We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic in-house web development team and oversee special projects that may involve new feature development, integrations, content migrations, or custom plugin development. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of developers and report directly to the Technical Director, while primarily working with Drupal and WordPress as the CMS, and PHP and React.js as frameworks and languages.

As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will manage a variety of projects for clients across different industries, ranging from mid-size to enterprise-level digital properties with millions of monthly web visitors. Our esteemed clientele includes organizations such as the American Red Cross, Barnes & Noble, and The University of Pennsylvania.

Your role requires a deep understanding of our clients' objectives and business goals, while staying informed about emerging digital and technology trends. You must have experience with React or a similar framework, Apache, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, SSO integrations, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. A strong understanding of website performance optimization and security is essential, as are excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

The ideal candidate is a highly technical individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, who can lead and mentor a team. We require a minimum of 5 years of experience in open source development, including custom plugin, module and theme development, and familiarity with popular WordPress or Drupal modules.

A solid understanding of API and SSO integration services is a must.
