Job description
We are currently seeking to hire a long-term, full-time LEAD remodeler/tradesman for an established custom remodeling company in Phoenix. We are looking for an experienced, highly-skilled "Jack-of-all-trades” individual with exceptional carpentry skills. Weeks & Mitchell is a general contracting company specializing in luxury home-remodeling (kitchen, bathrooms, complete home remodels, and additions).
HOURS:
- (4) 10-Hour Shifts
- Monday-Thursday
- 6am-4pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A high level of construction experience (10+ years)
- Clean driving record
- Clean cut with good hygiene
- Personal tools and cell phone
- Reliable transportation
- Framing – tub decks, interior/exterior walls, door and window openings
- Intermediate plumbing skills - both rough and finish
- Intermediate Electrical knowledge – both rough and finish
- Drywall (tape/texture)
- Trim Carpentry
- Demolition
*Additional work will likely include cabinet setting and general remodeling work required in the course of custom remodels.
More importantly, the applicant must be a "team" player who pays significant attention to detail, takes ownership of each job site including keeping it organized and cleaned at the end of each work day. This person must be trustworthy, reliable, motivated, and friendly with an extremely positive attitude to make a good first (and lasting) impression on our customers. Applicant must have solid social skills and always be respectful of our client and their home.
Applicant must also have a valid driver’s license and social security number. We will also run a separate background check (we do not hire individuals with a felony).
