A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD PRESCHOOL TEACHER

In this childcare position, you play a crucial role in the early childhood development and safety of the children under our care. Your day starts with greeting each child and their caregiver with a smile as they arrive. You mark attendance, begin a daily report, observe behavior, and record the development of each student. Throughout the day, you use Kids 'R' Kids' curriculum to engage our little students. You also supervise and interact with your class when they are in the café or on the playground. By getting on their eye level during individual interactions, you are able to make connections.

With care and concern, you are responsive and attentive to the needs of our preschool students. You run your classroom with warmth and affection, ensuring all children receive the proper attention. You establish and maintain open communication with the parents and remain always ready and willing to discuss their child's progress along with any concerns. You take pride in maintaining a nurturing, safe, and fun teaching environment for every one of your students. Every day is an adventure because no two days are the same as a Lead Preschool Teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LEAD PRESCHOOL TEACHER

• Experience as a lead teacher in a licensed preschool center

• 18+ years old

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
n
• Reliable transportation
n
• CPR and first aid certification or willingness to obtain

• Willingness to participate in required continuing education

• Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding background checks

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A LEAD PRESCHOOL TEACHER

This full-time childcare position typically works between the hours of 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM. Three shifts are available, including opening, mid-shift, and closing.
