As a Lead Project & Construction Manager, you will inspire others as a manager of people and execute our capital projects within our Cereal plant, because – who doesn’t love Cereal? We have been looking for someone like you as you are heavily involved in the day-to-day engineering and construction projects. Your keen ability to influence and plan will be what it takes to get the job done. Bonus points for food manufacturing experience. Relocation being offered.


Our Lancaster facility is located in Central Pennsylvania, which is 90 minutes from downtown Philadelphia and Baltimore. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead and Plan – you’ll be leading our capital and capital expense planning, forecasting, and tracking processes for the facility related to Cost, Schedule, Performance, People Safety and Food Safety targets.
  • Building Teams - Interact with design engineering, construction contractor, and drawing management personnel [typically Engineering Service Providers (ESPs)] to improve overall capital execution performance and processes.
  • Internal and External Partners – you’ll leverage your people skills as you meet with internal and external customers including our Supply Chain and Engineering leadership, Process, and Packaging teams. External teams include Engineering and Construction Management Service Providers, Consulting Firms, Equipment Vendors, and Co-manufacturers – we hope you like collaboration!
  • Financial Responsibility - Understand and apply Kellogg financial policies related to capital classification, asset set-up, capital guidelines and a few more.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS


  • Experience with direct supervision of contractors and construction activities
  • Experience defining and leading project execution under multiple contracting strategies
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and other project management software applications
  • Demonstrated strong project fundamentals and work processes (cost / schedule tracking, change management, risk identification, options analysis, etc.)
