Lead Provider (NP/PA) for Vaccine Clinics

The pandemic is not over. We must work together to protect our community.
We are happily vaccinating clients 7 days/week in San Francisco and Alameda county. We have employment opportunities for administering vaccines at stationary sites, on mobile teams, and on roving teams.
Responsibilities will include:
- Direct the day to day activities vaccination clinics and testing sites as needed
- Call patients local government agencies to report positive/negative results
- Administer vaccines including but not limited to COVID-19 and Hepatitis B
- Evaluate own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards as well as relevant statutes plus regulations identifying short long term professional goals
- Utilize the standards of practice the code of ethics for nurses with interpretive statements as the foundation for nursing practice
- Interact with & contributes to the professional development of peers others practicing in a shared governance model of nursing practice
- Make decisions as well as takes actions on behalf of patients are determined in an ethical manner plus care is delivered in a nonjudgmental and nondiscriminatory manner that is sensitive to patient diversity preserving patient autonomy dignity rights
- Consider factors related to safety effectiveness evidence based-practice as well as cost in planning plus delivering patient care and assists the patient & family in identifying & securing appropriate available services to address health-related needs
- Deliver timely as well as effective nursing care according to established standards including physical social emotional care
- Perform nursing assessments interventions evaluations
No prior vaccination experience required.
Spanish or other additional languages are a plus.
Currently we are looking for providers to work at least (2-3) shifts per week to support our San Francisco and Alameda counties sites. Great opportunity to work with an incredible team and community partners while having a direct impact serving high risk populations.

Pay: $85.00 per hour
