Position Summary:
Lead Teacher is to demonstrate positive teaching practices, maintain professionalism, leadership skills, in an effective learning and safe environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
At least 1 year of responsible classroom experience in a professional large Child Care Center. Knowledge of physical, intellectual, emotional, and social characteristics of children ages birth-five years old and up to 12 years old for Weekend Care. Must have knowledge of State Child Care regulations.
Required Education, Licenses, and Certifications:
- Associate's Degree Early Childhood Education

Other Information:
Work involves a variety of activities to include walking, standing and lifting of children and various objects. Must be able to stand for 30 minutes, display ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and age appropriately.
