Job Responsibilities:

Provides leadership to a program within Fraser Day Treatment (Adolescent and Transition). Provides mental health assessment, intervention, consultation, and supervision for adolescents and young adults.

Clinical Services

  • Participate in diagnostic assessment and treatment planning for clients with behavioral, emotional, and developmental concerns with an emphasis on Mental Health diagnoses and disorders.
  • Provide group therapies for clients and their families as needed.
  • Supports with and/or provides screenings and handbooks meetings for potential clients.
  • Provide training and consultation as assigned and appropriate to skills set.
  • Provide mental health supervision and consultation to Fraser Day Treatment Program staff as assigned.
  • Coordinate and provide supervision of training for interns and non-licensed staff.
  • Communicate concerns regarding program complaints, crises, and rule and policy compliance to the Clinical Program Manager and Bloomington Clinical Site Manager.
  • Schedule and provide clinical services and documentation.

Lead Responsibilities

  • Direct and support staff in daily activities in the assigned program(s), which may include day treatment services, family therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, group routines and activities, crisis intervention, targeted case management services, and parent/family contact as assigned.
  • May provide clinical supervision to staff as assigned and collaborate with other supervisors as necessary.
  • May review and sign day treatment documentation (bills, day treatment plans, etc.) for assigned rooms in adherence to Fraser’s documentation standards and timelines.
  • Oversee the organization in assigned program areas including collaboration with staff and indirect consultation to relevant non-Fraser staff, in collaboration with the Clinical Program Manager.
  • Oversee therapeutic environment of clinical services, including client referral and treatment plan development, in collaboration with the Clinical Program Manager.
  • Provide day treatment coverage of assigned rooms.
  • Communicate and reinforce important organizational messages to assigned staff.
  • Provide supervision, leadership, and support to staff in assigned rooms; which includes consultation, coaching, modeling, mentoring, and training.

Education/Licensure

  • MA, MS, Psy.D, or Ph.D. in a mental health field required.
  • Current licensure from the State of Minnesota (LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC) required.
