Job Description

Under limited supervision leads the deployment of performance improvement transformation at BWMC as it seeks to become an industry leader in delivering exceptional value to our patients in a “LEAN” way within a culture that enables and rewards continuous improvement. Responsible for working with executive sponsors and champions to implement Lean, six sigma and related principles and build a culture that fosters continuous improvements at all levels. Teaches by example in the application of performance improvement tools and approaches as well as providing problem solving support to improvement teams and management engineers. Mentors staff and Team Leaders to ensure effective deployment of standard work and support of value streams. Develops performance improvement deployment plans and monitors the progress of plan execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Applied Sciences required; Masters Degree preferred.
One (1) year of management and Operations of Program Management experience required.
Five (5) years of experience in application of Lean tools preferred.
Master Black Belt in Six Sigma preferred.
Clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
