Legal Analyst
Position Summary
The Legal Analyst coordinates and oversees legal programs such as claims, insurance contracts and the licensure process to ensure the organization is compliant. This could include:
- Gathering and analyzing the data required to complete all related applications and submit information timely.
- Maintaining all legal files relating to licensure and insurance to store all records.
- Managing medical records requests and subpoenas, including responding to subpoenas from non-prosecutors.
- Providing support to the legal department including preparing and proofreading legal documents and recording/transcribing minutes, as well as other administrative duties as needed.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field, or equivalent in education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience within a legal department.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be detailed oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
