This position reports to the Director of Services/CEO. Provides direct and indirect age appropriate clinical services to those in need of substance use and/or psychiatric services. Core skills may include crisis assessment, intake assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning and discharge planning. As skill sets permits, may provide flexible coverage to another service within Behavioral Health on a short-term basis. Salary based on experience:

  • Associate, LCSW, LPC.

Effective immediately, all new hires must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to start date. Limited exemption may be considered for verified medical and religious reasons only.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide at least 5-10 hours of direct provision (e.g., group, individual session, etc.)
  • Administer, score, and interpret assessment tools utilized by the program.
  • Collaboratively develop treatment plans based upon assessment data, diagnosis, stage of change, and clinical presentation.
  • Engage diverse population utilizing an approach that is person-centered and responsive to culture, gender, and trauma experience.
  • Demonstrate ability to defuse emergency situations with non-violent crisis skills.
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries and limits with clients and coworkers.
  • Maintain clear, timely, and presentable documentation.
  • Participate in supervision and case conference as required by program.
  • Licensed staff may be asked to provide clinical signoff and/or supervision.
  • Individuals identified as a supervising clinician will be responsible for the provision of clinical supervision of interns and unlicensed clinicians as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Masters degree in license eligible behavioral health field.
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in related field
  • Associate license required (MLSW, LPC-A, MFT-A), with ability to obtain full clinical licensure within 2 years of hire.
  • Working knowledge of psychotropic medications and side effects.
  • Ability to complete documentation in electronic health record system.
  • Ability to learn new systems and programs quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others as a team.
