Line Cook/Food Prep
SUMMARY

**Weekend Night shifts required**

Line Cook & Food Prep Duties:

  • Prepares menu items according to detailed Recipes,
  • Able to use cooking equipment to complete necessary food and menu items.
  • Understands measurements, Plate Presentations and specifications of menu items and recipes.
  • Completes all assigned prep work which include cutting, dicing, portioning of ingredients used.
  • Sets up work station according to SOP.
  • Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with Team Members.

  • Be punctual and reliable with all prep and cooking duties
  • Unload, un-box, rotate and store food, equipment and supplies as necessary.
  • Stock and rotate all needed supplies in the service areas and dining room.
  • Comply with all federal, state and local regulations.
  • Dispose of all trash properly
  • Keep DMO station cleaned at all times
  • Perform other assignments or tasks as assigned by the General Manager, Assistant Manager or acting supervisor.
  • Build pizza, salad, and pasta orders according to recipes and station

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Restaurant experience preferred but not required.

Job Types: Part-time (Nights and weekends)
