167 Raw is offering a unique cooking opportunity with great financial benefits. 167 Raw, located on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts, has a successful food truck, gourmet fish market, and raw bar. The seasonal operation is hiring cooks from May to October, with flexibility on dates.
Seeking experienced cooks to be familiar with kitchen stations, including garde manger, sauté, grill, and fry. The ability to time manage, while communicating with the team is essential in the kitchen. Applicant will have previous experience handling and preparing food according to food safety standards. Our company’s consistency is important, which is driven from the line cooks' ability to prepare and follow our signature recipes, with the ability to create featured dishes, aligned with our menu style.
Food truck menu consists of tacos, sandwiches, and appetizers. Using a 2 - 3 person line, line cooks are fast paced and multi-taskers.
167 Raw’s gourmet fish market offers fresh fish, butchered in house, as well as house made food items. Fish butcher and prep cooks would be expected to have a high volume skill set.
The raw bar is open at the local Cisco Brewers location and shucks shellfish with 2 - 3 shuckers from 11am to 7pm. Our shuckers have speed and accuracy, as well as provide service to the guests.
