We are currently seeking a full-time Transport Driver (Tanker) at our Livermore, CA location to perform various assignments in connection with the delivery of products associated with Company business. These are local positions and home daily!

Compensation
$31 - $35 / hour

Day 1 Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision and accrual starts being earned for time off

Schedule: Monday - Friday 1st shift 4:30 AM to completion
HOME DAILY!

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Pre-checks vehicle to ensure that the equipment is considered operable and safe
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local and company operating requirements including DOT Hours of Service regulations, vehicle inspections, electronic log book maintenance )
Prepares daily vehicle condition report indicating any repairs required
Reviews shipment orders, verifying destination and load contents
Completes shipment orders as required in an accurate manner
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and plant personal.
Leaves Company locations secure and in a neat and orderly state
Performs miscellaneous assigned duties and works the hours necessary to complete hauling requirements
Safely operate a semi-trailer/tractor unit with gross vehicle weight of 100,000 lbs in the timely pick-up and delivery of bulk water from spring sites to company bottling plants.
Load and unload tanker truck safely. Follow company procedures on water quality testing.
Follows DOT guidelines
Represent the company in a professional manner by keeping a neat appearance, interacting well with the public, and maintaining safe speeds and driving habits in the communities in which we operate. Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
Experience operating a Forklift
Valid Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
Three or more years over the road experience driving a tractor / semi- trailer, preferably 100,000 pound GVW
A clean driving record in the last 3 years, that you’ve only had 1 license, no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations and no reckless driving incidents and in the last 3 years, no major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accident.
Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement)
Reading and writing skills sufficient to complete all required paperwork
Ability to withstand prolonged periods in a sitting position driving a truck
Ability to maintain safe and efficient control of the vehicle at all times
Ability to continuously sit while operating a vehicle between scheduled stops.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs on trailer and tractor and at loading and unloading facilities
Ability to twist, kneel, squat and other maneuvers in sometimes confined quarters to connect valves, hoses and fittings as required in loading and unloading
Ability to move/lift, lower or rise from ground or above ground level objects weighing up to 75 lbs for short periods of time and moving by pushing, pulling or carrying over a distances up to 100 feet
Available on nights and/or weekends
